Jack`s writing on the theme of Feeling Torn

The police were waiting for an answer… The room was gloomy, it was so awfully silent, you could hear your own heart beating… You could hear your blood rushing round your body like the roar of the sea. “Well? Did you do it Mr Walker?” I know… It was not me. It was my best friend, My best friend, Tom… Tom Jones “Mr Walker tell me the honest truth!!” I am clueless… what decision shall I make? Drop my friend in, or take the consequences? “Well…I…erm…” Mr Walker stuttered slowly The policeman said “Well…I have no more questions, Interview Terminated at 18:24” The officer reaches over to the cassette “Do you want to own up?” “Okay…Well… It was a nice day and…uhm… My friend Tom Jones smashes an old, wrinkled lady`s window and vandalises the huge house, I was not the one that did it… “Okay you are dismissed.” The officer reply`s I`m imagining Tom`s face when he gets called by the police … He`ll know that I dropped him in it… I betrayed him… I was going to take the consequence but I have had a clean, nice life with no criminal records… I don’t want a single disgusting record in my life… I feel somewhat guilty… I changed my mind because he dropped me in it when we were at primary school… I felt disgusted with him… By, Jack

DT Project, Designing an Original Recipe for Pizza

Our project this week has been to create a pizza against a design brief that we thought of as a class. The brief was to create a brand new topping for pizza. We learned about hygiene before making our pizza and then watched Masterchef to think about what criteria we could evaluate the Pizza's against. Finally we worked in pairs or threes to evaluate our pizza against the criteria we had decided. The criteria included taste, colour, texture, appearance and how healthy it was.
