Pancake Day

Today we learned about Shrove Tuesday. We learned that it is the day before lent begins on Ash Wednesday and it is the day that Christians traditionally use up the things they would give up at Lent. We learned about Jesus' 40 days in the desert and when he was tempted by Satan and thought about how Lent helps us to remember this.

After our discussions we made pancakes and sat together as a class to eat and talk about what we would be giving up for Lent.
